Program and Logistics Intern
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Helping pack gear for courses (tents, backpacks, stoves, sleeping bags, pots/pans, etc.)
- Assisting with food shopping, online orders, local errands & food labeling / packing
- Aiding in course starts, course ends & re-supplies
- Gear care, cleaning, maintenance, inventory & issuing
- General program support as necessary
Our ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to work hours/schedule and be willing to work some long days in the office and the field as well as several weekend days.
Requirements:
- Experienced outdoor adventurer / Wilderness First Aid (or WFR) certified a plus
- Interest in logistics and food packing for outdoor programs
- Strong organizational skills & a passion for working with empowering girls and women.

Position Dates & Benefits:
- 30-40hr/wk: May 29 – Aug 29, 2008 (Required In-field Staff Training: May 29-June 3)
- This unpaid internship is ideal for college students looking to earn credit, gain experience and enjoy a summer working among other amazing, energetic, fun-loving & caring women!
