Internships

Office InternInternships are a component of our Leadership Development Program, which offers alumnae girls a chance to further develop their leadership skills in outdoor education and in the greater community. We have two internship opportunities for alumnae to gain valuable team-building skills, leadership expertise, and office administrative experience. Please read on for details about our different types of internships.

What are the Internship Opportunities?

The Office Intern position gives high school girls an opportunity to employ GirlVentures’ mission, methods and values in an office environment. Interns will assist  GirlVentures’ staff by working on special projects, office tasks, and providing logistical and program support as needed. The Office Intern position gives girls an opportunity to be involved in GirlVentures’ decision-making process while supporting the career progression of girls interested in nonprofits or experiential education.

The Logistics Intern assists in all logistical aspects of supporting GirlVentures' Summer Outdoor Adventure Programs. This vital position provides high school alumnae with the opportunity to learn key organization, leadership and team-building skills in a fun and egaging environment. It is hard work but full of good laughs. For young women interested in pursuing a career in the experiential education or outdoor adventure fields, this is an excellent way to gain professional experience that can be used in future.
