At GirlVentures, we encourage physical and creative risk-taking in a safe and supportive environment. We work with girls in grades 6-9 from all backgrounds and communities.

Through our single gender programs we explore self, community, culture, and the environment through outdoor adventure, creative arts, and group experiences.

GirlVentures girls are diverse in experience, ethnicity, race and socio-economic status. To ensure economic diversity, one-third of all program participants will receive full Financial Aid. One-third will receive partial financial aid. One-third will pay full tuition.

Critical to success on a GirlVentures course is a girl's motivation and willingness to "say yes to try". The first decisive factor in admissions at GirlVentures is motivation!

All of our programs provide our girls with opportunities to:

  • Experience physical success
  • Express creativity
  • Celebrate girls' diverse identities
  • Practice group decision making and problem solving
  • Develop community responsibility
  • Engage in healthy conflict resolution
  • Cultivate a sense of appreciation and stewardship for nature and the environment.
