Yoga

For Bay Area Girls in Grades 6 - 12

 

Project CourageYoga consists of a series of techniques that focus and calm the mind while strengthening the body; and the best part is, you don't have to be flexible to do it! In this fun, introductory workshop, girls will learn some of the basic yoga postures and relaxation exercises. We will also explore ways in which yoga can help girls in their daily lives from managing school stress, to building strong bodies, to soothing menstrual cramps and discomfort. At the end of the workshop, girls will take home a couple of short sequences that they can practice on their own. Come move your body with us, no previous yoga experience necessary.
