Girls Climb On
Girls Climb On is an after-school program made for youth in 6th-10th grade. Youth spend 9 weekly sessions in a local climbing gym (either Great Western Power Co, Missions Cliffs, or Bridges Rock Gym) and go on 1 outdoor climbing field trip. Each youth is paired with an adult mentor for the duration of the program and supported individually to set goals and learn at their own level. Other group activities augment climbing in order to deepen students' learning in regards to health, teamwork, and access to the sport of climbing. No prior experience is necessary and all equipment is provided. We ask that students and mentors miss no more than 1 session and all are required to attend the orientation - see dates and times below.

To ensure that all girls have the opportunity to participate in our programs, we offer sliding scale tuition. Once a participant is accepted for a specific course, they and their family will self-select their household income range, tuition amount, and preferred payment plan. We do not require proof of income. We ask that families pay an amount within the recommended sliding scale for their income bracket, at minimum. Selected tuition may be paid in up to four monthly installments. As a non-profit, GirlVentures subsidizes the tuition of all participants.
