Girls Climb On
You can make a difference in a young girl’s life by becoming a mentor in our Girls Climb On after-school rock climbing program, which runs in San Francisco and Oakland. Please read below to apply.
For more information, please contact Tryka at firstname.lastname@example.org.
APPLY FOR GIRLS CLIMB ON
Applications will be considered 2 – 3 months prior to the program start date.
The program is limited to 10 mentors and 10 girls. Interviews, references and background checks are required. Mentors are accepted on a rolling basis. The programs will fill up – please do not delay in submitting your application.
There is a nominal application fee covers costs associated with the administrative and background check required when working directly with youth. If you cannot afford to pay this fee, please contact us.
There are no additional fees associated with mentoring if you have your belay card. Gym use, equipment, snacks and training are all provided free of charge. However, if you do not have a current belay card with Touchstone gyms, you will need to take an “Intro to Climbing” course at one of the Touchstone gyms (Mission Cliffs, Great Western Power Co, etc). Courses are $35 and are offered daily. Visit touchstoneclimbing.com to register.
